We are taking to prevent mistakes in the shipping of products, Shin-Etsu will adopt the 2D (two-dimensional) Code technology for identification purposes on its silicone product labels and also on shipping tags. |
Purpose of adopting the 2D Code |
To strengthen measures to prevent mistakes in shipments by achieving more effective product control through the use of the 2D Code. |

Products that will be covered by the 2D Code |
For products with labels that have a one-dimensional bar code printed on them, a 2D code will be added. |

Starting from December 10, 2007, it will be sequentially adopted.
