Shin-Etsu Silicones of America will expand its' current excellent ability to service customers with formulating capability by establishing a new laboratory in New Jersey.

The establishment of the cosmetic application lab should make the company more in tune with the needs of the U.S. market and enable rapid development of competitive products, while further enhancing our customer service capacity.

Shin-Etsu Silicone (Nantong) holds ground-breaking ceremony for silicone products plant.

Shin-Etsu Silicone (Nantong) Co., Ltd. held a ground-breaking ceremony at the site of their new silicone products plant on December 1, 2010, in Nantong city in the Chinese province of Jiangsu.

The ceremony was attended by around 200 guests representing various segments of the community, who offered prayers for the safety of the construction project. The new plant, scheduled for completion at the end of 2011, will manufacture silicone rubber for molding and other rubber products, and has a projected production capacity of 25,000 tons per year.

Shin-Etsu Silicone Taiwan's tech center gets a makeover.

On October 1, 2010, Shin-Etsu Silicone Taiwan held a ceremony to mark the opening of its redesigned and relocated tech center. The center had outgrown its space within the Hsinchu plant facility. With this, and the aim of enhancing its technical services in mind, the tech center was moved to a new, redesigned facility on the same site as the Hsinchu plant.
